Limited Product Warranty

Effective Date  September 10 2026

Lumina Lighting Inc. warrants that eligible products sold under the Lumina Lighting or Doshine brands will be free from defects in materials and workmanship during the applicable warranty period when properly installed, operated, and maintained under normal use.

This Limited Warranty applies only to products expressly sold with Lumina Lighting warranty coverage. A product page, product manual, packaging, invoice, or separate written warranty may specify a different warranty period or additional product-specific terms. When product-specific written warranty terms conflict with this general Limited Warranty, the product-specific terms control to the extent permitted by law.

The warranty period begins on the original purchase date shown on the receipt, invoice, or online order record. Product registration is not required, but proof of purchase is required for a claim.

When a kit contains products from different categories, each component is covered for the period applicable to that component.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, products used at commercial properties, rental properties, multifamily common areas, hospitality properties, public spaces, or other nonresidential locations are covered for one year from the original purchase date.

Who Is Covered

This Limited Warranty applies to the original purchaser of an eligible product bought directly from Lumina Lighting, an official Lumina Lighting or Doshine marketplace storefront, or an authorized reseller in the United States. It is not transferable.

Products purchased from an unauthorized or unverifiable source may not be covered. Lumina Lighting may require documentation reasonably necessary to verify the product, seller, purchaser, and purchase date.

What Is Covered

This Limited Warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship occurring under normal use when the product has been installed, operated, and maintained according to its instructions, ratings, and applicable electrical codes.

Qualifying defects may include a failure of a fixture, transformer, replaceable LED bulb, integrated LED module, or internal electrical component caused by a covered defect; persistent flickering caused by a confirmed product defect; or another manufacturing defect that materially prevents normal operation.

Submitting a claim does not automatically establish coverage. Lumina Lighting may inspect or test the product and request reasonable troubleshooting and installation information.

What Is Not Covered

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

·    Improper product selection, installation, wiring, assembly, maintenance, or storage

·    Failure to follow product instructions, safety warnings, ratings, or applicable electrical codes

·    Incorrect voltage, overloading, short circuits, power surges, lightning, or power outages

·    Excessive voltage drop caused by inadequate wire size, excessive run length, poor connections, or improper system design

·    An incompatible transformer, dimmer, bulb, control, connector, or power supply when it caused or contributed to the failure

·    Accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, theft, vandalism, impact, or customer-caused damage

·    Improper modification or repair when it caused or contributed to the failure

·    Fire, flood, severe weather, natural disaster, or another event beyond our reasonable control

·    Water exposure exceeding the product's stated water-resistance or location rating, including continuous submersion of products not rated for submersion, prolonged standing water caused by inadequate drainage, incorrect installation orientation, unsealed connections, damaged seals, or direct irrigation exposure exceeding the product's rating

·    Chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides, saltwater, coastal conditions, hard water, reclaimed water, or incompatible cleaners

·    Normal wear, normal LED lumen depreciation, minor color or brightness variation, or cosmetic damage that does not materially affect operation

·    Removal, alteration, or illegibility of a serial number, model number, date code, or other product identification when it prevents Lumina Lighting from reasonably verifying the product, purchase, or warranty claim

Use of a third-party component or service does not by itself void this Limited Warranty. Damage caused by an incompatible component, improper installation, or improperly performed service is not covered.

Finishes and Weathering

Gradual fading, discoloration, oxidation, staining, surface corrosion, and other normal outdoor weathering are not manufacturing defects. Brass, copper, and similar metals may naturally darken or develop a patina. Verified peeling, blistering, or abnormal deterioration of an applied finish may be covered for one year.

Warranty Remedy

If Lumina Lighting confirms a covered defect, Lumina Lighting will, at its option and subject to applicable law:

·    Repair the defective product or component

·    Replace the defective product or component with the same product

·    Replace it with a current or comparable product of similar function and value

Lumina Lighting may replace only the affected product or defective component when that remedy reasonably restores normal operation. Replacement of one component does not require replacement of an entire kit, set, or lighting system.

Replacement products or components may be new, refurbished, recertified, or functionally equivalent. If the original product is unavailable or discontinued, the replacement may differ in appearance, finish, dimensions, specifications, connector design, or light output. An exact match with previously installed products cannot be guaranteed.

If repair or replacement is not commercially practical, or if Lumina Lighting is unable to bring the product into conformity with this Limited Warranty after a reasonable number of attempts, Lumina Lighting may refund the original purchase price, less any deduction permitted by applicable law, or provide another remedy required by applicable law.

A warranty replacement does not create a new ordinary return period or an independent right to a cash refund. However, nothing in this Limited Warranty limits any refund, replacement, repair, reimbursement, or other remedy that cannot legally be waived.

Coverage for Repaired and Replacement Products

A repaired or replacement product or component is covered for the longer of the remaining portion of the original warranty period or 90 days after delivery to the customer. Repair or replacement does not restart the original warranty period.

Warranty Shipping

For a confirmed incorrect, missing, shipping-damaged, or defective product reported within 7 calendar days after delivery, Lumina Lighting will cover reasonable standard return and replacement shipping within the contiguous United States.

For an approved warranty claim submitted after the initial 7-day inspection period, the customer is generally responsible for shipping the product to Lumina Lighting when a physical return is required. Lumina Lighting will pay reasonable standard shipping for the repaired or replacement product to an address within the contiguous United States.

Additional shipping charges may apply to Alaska and Hawaii. Expedited shipping, special handling, freight upgrades, and other optional services are not covered unless Lumina Lighting approves them in writing or payment is required by applicable law.

If a product cannot reasonably be returned because of its size, weight, method of attachment, method of installation, or the nature of the defect, contact Lumina Lighting before attempting to remove or ship it. Lumina Lighting will provide instructions and arrange transportation when required by applicable law.

If inspection or testing shows that the product operates properly or that the reported problem is not covered by this Limited Warranty, the customer may be responsible for return shipping and any non-warranty service charges authorized in advance. Products returned without prior authorization may be refused, returned to the sender, or delayed.

Costs Not Covered

Unless required by applicable law or approved in writing by Lumina Lighting, this Limited Warranty does not cover third-party diagnostic charges, labor, contractor or electrician fees, removal, reinstallation, landscaping, trenching, paving, irrigation work, property restoration, equipment rental, expedited shipping, loss of use, or incidental or consequential expenses.

Lumina Lighting will not charge the customer solely for its ordinary evaluation or testing of a product submitted under an authorized warranty claim. If testing confirms that the product is operating properly or that the problem is not covered, the customer may be responsible for return shipping and any non-warranty service charges authorized in advance.

How to Submit a Claim

1.   Contact Lumina Lighting through the Contact Us page or email support@luminalighting.com before returning any product.

2.   Provide the order number or other proof of purchase, product model or SKU, quantity, purchase date, a description of the problem, and photographs or a short video when applicable. For system-related issues, we may request information about the transformer, connected wattage, wire gauge, wire length, connections, installation, or measured voltage.

3.   Complete reasonable troubleshooting requested by Lumina Lighting. If a physical return is required, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number and return instructions.

4.   Include the RMA number with the return and ship the product as instructed. Do not discard the product unless Lumina Lighting confirms in writing that return is unnecessary.

5.   After receiving the product, Lumina Lighting will inspect and, when appropriate, test it. We will notify the customer of the claim decision and approved remedy. Inspection times may vary depending on the product, reported problem, testing requirements, and shipping conditions.

Limitation and Legal Rights

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumina Lighting's responsibility is limited to the remedies stated in this Limited Warranty. Lumina Lighting is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost use, lost revenue, landscaping damage, labor, removal, or reinstallation costs.

To the extent permitted by law, implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the applicable written warranty period. Some states do not allow limits on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Nothing in this Limited Warranty excludes or limits a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
