We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics or for purposes that trigger a right to limit under California law.

Marketing Communications

You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message. You may opt out of marketing text messages by replying STOP or following the stated instructions. Message and data rates may apply. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary communications about orders, delivery, returns, warranties, security, safety, or customer service.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your residence and applicable law, you may have the right to:

We may need to verify your identity before completing an access, correction, deletion, or portability request. Verification may depend on the nature and sensitivity of the information requested. We will not request more information than reasonably necessary.

An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted. We may require proof that the agent is authorized and may ask you to verify your identity directly. We do not require identity verification solely to process an opt-out request, but we may request information needed to identify the relevant browser, device, or account.

We will respond within the period required by applicable law and will explain any permitted denial. To appeal a decision, reply to our decision or email support@luminalighting.com with Privacy Appeal in the subject line. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

Some information may be retained or excluded when permitted by law, including information needed to complete transactions, provide warranty or recall service, maintain security and fraud-prevention records, comply with legal obligations, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

California Privacy Information

The sections above describe the categories of personal information we may collect, the sources, business or commercial purposes, categories of recipients, and categories that may be sold or shared. California residents may also request information about certain disclosures of personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes under California's Shine the Light law by contacting us and stating Shine the Light Request.

California privacy rights apply only when the relevant law covers Lumina Lighting and the request. Nothing in this Policy limits a right that cannot legally be waived.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary and proportionate to the purposes described in this Policy. We consider the duration of our relationship, warranty and product-support periods, transaction and account needs, tax and accounting rules, fraud and security risks, recordkeeping requirements, limitation periods, disputes, and legal obligations. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of it, subject to lawful backup and record-retention practices.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system or method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and devices. Contact us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action. We do not knowingly sell or share for targeted advertising the personal information of consumers under 16.
